Free Buffet and More Shoes Please!

Dear Sufi,

I clearly remember a night two years ago. We turned back on a two hour journey to nowhere. Instead of breakfasting at PICC, we had our late breakfast at  McD in front of my kindergarten.  Root cause of failure to get to PICC was the massive traffic jam in Jalan Tun Razak. So when Papa texted me on the Iftar venue fot this year, I suggested you and I to ride the LRT Putra and ERL. No traffic jam and most importantly - I don't have to hear his indefinite nagging of the traffic jam :p Hehe. Just picks us up at Putrajaya ERL station from his office. Time saving and less hassle for him to travel back to Gombak from Puchong and drive back to Putrajaya.

It was fun yet a bit challenging travelling on two trains with you. My crucial target is rush (I really mean rush!) and arrive as soon as possible. However, you don't simply let that happen :p Instead of walking you opted to jump from one tile design to another, asking me indefinite whys of whatever things you see, stopping by at several stores in KL Sentral and I even bought you a hundred grams of candies and the saleslady even gave you to sample out some of the candies (alamak sweet la pulak Indian lady ni, tapi Mama nak cepat ni!), you were loud and ask a lot of questions while in the train :D So many pairs of eyes were on you and me. There were times I simply snapped at you. You looked hurt. I said sorry.

I guess I need to work harder on my patience, Sufi :) Give me time won't you? And bare with me? Hehe.

In the ERL to Putrajaya

Waiting for Papa at Putrajaya station

Having our one and only buffet this Ramadhan - since it was free!
You didn't eat much because you ate Teacher's Ida packed laksa at Nenek's place. Tiga kali tambah (baru Mama tahu anak mama suka makan laksa) and you had some toasted oats as your dessert. Food becomes less intresting to you when you met two of Papa's colleague's daughters (does that sound right?). We let you play with a 9 year old and 4 year old without our supervision. I somehow trusted Aisyah, the older girl. You met them a few times and even played at their house, so they effortlessly approach you :)

Asyik Sufi je amik gambar ngan Papa kan. Mama pun nak!

Our table had a stunning view

Sufi,

Too many activities lately. I'm just going to highlight some of them. The final part of shoes hunting. Final attempt - two days away from Aidilfitri. Planning to have a quick look at Tangs (my shoes) and Pumpkin Patch (your shoe size that was unavailable in other outlets) but we ended up strolling for five hours!  Avoding the balik kampung and last minute shopping traffic and avoding the expensive carpark rates, Papa decided to take the train! Wow Sufi, another train ride in a week!

Parked our car opposite of Taman Melati station

Our usual seats in Putra LRT

And were are so done with shoes hunting!

It was a bit frustrating for me since the designs that I love were always run out of my size! Always! I think this time around  I had more than fifteen dissapointments! And I was not that keen spending more than RM250 on a pair of shoe. Thus I have limited choices as most of the designs I fancy range from RM350 above. *Pengsan* And I'm particular of the shoes comfort since I have very sensitive skin. Design cantik tapi keras! Even hunting for your shoes was frustrating! Semua yang cantik and comfy takde size :( So finally we bought this. Papa kata ok lah dari takde. Tapi boleh tahan mahal gak!

Macam tak sempat je Mama nak share our baking activities togother before Aidilfitri. Hmm..

Love,
Mama
