Second Visit
Dear Sufi,

So this morning was our second visit to Dr. Helena's. We had our usual breakfast then sent you off to school. Me and Papa reached Wisma Perintis at 9.25 am and very lucky to find an empty parking bay at B2. We were 15 minutes early and only an Indian lady and a Malay man were waiting. I suspected that it wont take long for our turn so I quickly go to the ladies. While I was doing my business, someone pushed the door handle. Twice.
Haish. Rileks la dah berkunci tu tunggu je la. Ada la orang kat dalam toilet ni. Hish pantang betul Mama tau. As I walked out from the toilet a lady rushed towards me. Boring betul dengan orang yang tak menyempat-nyempat ni.
I sat down beside Papa and browsed through my period tracker app in my S3 looking for important dates. Then I took two magazines - Top Gear for Papa and a Hollywood entertainment magazine for me. I was looking through at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children when Dr. Helena called for me. She was smiling. broadly. Cantik la Doc ni!
Ok Aqmar. Today is your second visit. You're on your menses today?
Well, yet to have my menses since my first visit.
Berkerut dahi Dr. Helena, exchanging looks from her notes to me. Her eyes widen, have you tested it out?
Yes, I did.
Her eyes widen again. and what's the result?
Masa ni muka Dr. Helena macam lagi berdebar dari patient. Haha.
The sweet Malay lady who gave me a smile when I arrived (Dr. Helena's assistance) ushered me for an abdominal scan. Lega jap. Mama dah prepare for vaginal scan dah. Nasib baik abdominal scan je.
Ok Aqmar! Congratulations! There's your fetus..only ONE baby yeah.
I let out a big laugh and quickly look at Papa. Papa kamu tu Sufi, teringin twins sebenarnya.
Now let me measure the size...bla bla bla ..... and there you go..can you see it's moving? That's the heart beat.....and can you hear the sound? That's the sound of your baby heart beat.
Alhamdulillah.
I was then prescribed some Duphaston as she saw some internal implantation bleeding. According to her, nothing to worry if I'm having some spotting in a week to come. And there she said it again... looks like you didn't need my help afterall and I'll see you in 2 weeks time yeah.
Lepas Mama dah dapat all the vitamins (gila costly!) and some milk powder samples, we went into the cashier room. The Indian cashier lady tu dah tua la jugak and muka nampak serious. But from my first visit dia punye ketawa tu boleh tahan gak. Friendly la. Dia tanya the sweet Malay lady apa yang Dr. Helena tulis kat my file. MT? What is MT? Miracle Touch? Terus dia ketawa mengilai.
She proceed with our charges for the day and will try to work it out for us since we already paid for the fertility assessment package - but since we don't need it, she'll try to deduct the antenatal check up charges from the RM699 package. Then she looked at Papa, you didn't do the sperm test right? Then she said, no need la.. yours super healthy already! Ketawa mengilai lagi.
Kuat betul dia mengilai on her own jokes. Papa ketawa kecil sambil sengih macam kerang busuk. Huhuhu. Mama pulak sengih sebab the lady tu mengilai kuat sangat. Huhu. Mama lega everything goes well..if not...cannot imagine how to transport the sperms within 45 minutes!
Bila dah keluar tu tiba2 Papa cerita masa Mama pergi toilet tadi...ada sorang Malay lady ni keluar dari satu bilik terus menangis teresak-esak duduk kat husband dia. That was he lady that was trying to get into the toilet earlier. Terkedu kejap Mama. Papa cakap treatment tak jadi kot..beriya menangis. Tu yang dia nak cepat2 pergi toilet tu. Nak calm herself down.
Lepas tu Papa and Mama straight pergi level 4 for my antenatal blood checkup. That went very smooth...tak payah amik no ke tunggu ke apa.. Terus je duduk ambil darah. I glanced at my wrist watch. It was 9.58 am.
Mama sampai ofis 10.20 am. Row Mama kosong lagi. Aunty Faza pun tak sampai lagi. By the way, Aunty Nadia UTP pesan kat Mama, jangan lupa buat sujud syukur.

Lama tak tengok gambar kan? Ni masa kita pergi Genting Highlands masa 6th anniversary :) Pergi cukup 24 hours tapi rasa lama and Sufi teramatlah enjoy!

| Tiba-tiba rasa amik macro ngan Note 2 Papa lagi best. I was struggling focus red rose tu nak bagi nampak ice tu. Out jugak! Papa....nak Nex7!!!!! Tak payah birthday handbag..birthday camera laaaaa. Eh, bukan dah sebulan lebih ke birthday Mama berlalu? Haippp Papa nih! |
