Aunty Wanie Got Married!

My late entry on Aunty Wani's solemnization and wedding reception.

I knew Aunty Wanie when I was 13. We were in the same class. She sat at the back of the class - she's tall. I sat at the very first row, right corner of the class. I was the class monitor oppsss the loud class monitor! My class: 1O - pronounced as one O. I can't remember how we got close. Aunty Wai and Aunty Iz were in the same class too. Aunty Syai was in 1L but she did come to our class a lot - lepaking at the back door! I remembered we had a lot of conversations at the back of the class. Aunty Aina were part of our gang too -  well at least for a shortwhile. She named our gang - Demandzers. Haha. Yes, I remembered that. Not sure if anyone of us remember that :p

Anyway, another thing that I can still  remember was during our PJ (pendidikan jasmani) class or was it during the volleyball practise? Hmm...anyway, Aunty Wanie always wanted to stand beside me (Mai Mai nak berdiri sebelah awak!) Yes - I clearly remembered that! I guess that was when we get along very well. I have quite a few fond memories with her... pergi concert kat disco masa f3 (first time Mama pergi disco), minat boy band yang sama (siap beli bunga bagi kat diorang!! oh nooo!!!, Mama siap tak basuh rambut seminggu sebab artis yang Mama suka tu amik gambar kena rambut Mama!) Hahaha and Aunty Wanie would just scream to me if I started remenicing this story over and over again! Yes - naive but I still love that bit of my teenage life! :) Pergi Penjara Pudu on a Friday afternoon. She almost fell from the mini bus while the bus it taking a steep corner. Only one hand on the hand rail and her whole body dancing thru the air at the door. Eh serious scary memang ingat Aunty Wanie nak jatuh dari bas dah! Alhamdulillah semua selamat! Phew!

Aunty Wanie then left BBGS for MRSM Jasin. Aunty Iz went to MRSM Muar, Aunty Wai to Sains Pokok Sena and Aunty Syai to Sains Muar. THEY LET ME - ALL ALONE! One of my blackest and darkest moment in BBGS :( Ok I would need a separate entry on that!

We would have our gathering in KLCC (most of the times) during school holidays and semester break to keep up with each others lives. Then, I got myself a boyfriend (at last!!!) and I LEFT THEM - ALL OF THEM! Muahahaha revenge la pulak kan? I GOT MARRIED!

Aunty Syai, Aunty Wai and Aunty Wanie came to my berinai session and my solemnization. Aunty Wanie was my sleeping partner right after my solemnization. That night, after Papa sent me a sweet text message, Aunty Wanie and I were talking and talking until 3am - I need to stop her - my reception was just a few hours away! I need some sleep and to look beautiful!

4.7 years later, Aunty Wanie got married!

Then I found this...everytime I go to a solemnization ceremony kan, mesti flash back to my own ceremony :) hihihihi. Touching tauuuu - even after almost 5 years! Alhamdulillah.

(the objective digging my multiply was to find a photo of me and Aunty Wanie on my solemnization ceremony. But ended up with more photos of my school and university friends!
