HK DAY 2
Dear Sufi,
Now let's see what I can recall for Day 2 in HK :)
Around 8.40am after we had our first day breakfast in the hotel, we went to the nearest MTR station. I think we ended up to East Tsim Sha Tsui station instead of Tsim Sha Tsui. Equally are near to our hotel. I told Papa that we need to get to Sunny Bay station to take the MTR Disneyland Resort.
So Papa studied the MTR map from the large yet useful HK map that I took from our hotel lobby. This map turned out to be the best of all maps that I took from the HK Tourism board at HK Airport. It was our first attempt taking the MTR. I just let Papa decide which route we were going to take while I was telling you that the day you've been waiting for has finally arrived. You're going to meet Mickey and Minney Mouf!
We changed 3 lines of MTR but it was super convenient. There was no climbing stairs or taking the lift to get to another line. We just walked out from the train and the other train was already waiting for us. Door opened. Gile efficient. Tiba2 je dah naik the 3rd train to Disneyland. Tabik spring siot! Macam keluar pintu rumah kereta dah parked betol2 depan pintu rumah tinggal angkat kaki masuk je! Before we know it, we were in Disneyland Resort station! Masa kat station tu adalah sikit Mama rasa macam station train nak pegi Hogwarts je :p Tak jupe pulak 3/4 platform!
We walked to the Disneyland entrance. I looked around. Ok takpe. Belum rasa magical lagi. Then we saw the signature fountain. The crowd was acceptable. After a few minutes, people started to subside and we got the fountain all to ourselves. Sempat la Mama suruh Sufi posing camni dan camtu :) Matahari pun dah start naik. It was roughly around 9.30am.
We queued up into one of the lines at the entrance. I saw the staffs are checking the bags so Papa quickly hide your biscuits :) Ten minutes later, Mickey and Minnie made a quick stop at the entrace. Papa dukung Sufi kat bahu Papa. Muka Sufi excited and terkejut tengok Mickey and Minnie. I reminded you again to not be afraid of them, to make sure you shake hand with them and take photos with the. You nodded and smiled. A few minutes later, the entrace gate opened and the staff scanned our pre-bought tickets from Matta Fair (Sept 7th).
Sorry. Ticket expired.
Terbeliak mata Mama. I looked at Papa.
Me: No. I bought from my agent.
She scanned again.
Staff: Expired mam.
Me: When expired?
Staff: 30 September 2012. Buy new tickets from the counter. Can check your ticket there.
At the ticketing counter. The staff scanned our tickets again.
Staff: Ticket havent use. But already expired. Expired 30 September 2012.
Me: Ok give me 2 new tickets for adults.
Staff: 798 HKD.
Penifu punya Roystar!
Telan air liur aje lah tiba2 need to fork out another 800HKD. Fortunately I dont need to queue up to buy the new tickets and the entrance staff let us in without queuing up again. Thumbs up for the great service. We were confused why our 2-day pass were expired. Then I quickly told Papa I don't want to ruin the day and we were already inside Disneyland. So we quickly dropped the topic and I was determined to get my money back from Roystar.
I knew it. Sure ada dugaan :) At least not that big la kan.
We were in Fantasyland. The first ride that you took was the Cinderella Corousel. Eh freaked out pulak Sufi ni. Rasa nak geget je Sufi masa tu. Bukannya naik sorang pun. Mama ada je kat kuda sebelah tu. Mula2 muka je nampak panic. Tiba2 terus jerit ketakutan. Heeee anak sape ni asyik takut jeeee! Mama pun terpaksa la turun and peluk Sufi until it stopped. Kena marah la ngan Mama and Papa. So Papa pujuk Sufi ajak naik Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Mama suggested Sufi naik dengan Papa. Somehow memang Mama sedar Sufi lagi confident main rides dengan Papa. Papa kata mana taknya. Mama pun dua kali lima penakut. Wekkk :p
The queue to Dumbo was quite long. I patiently waited. Dah start terik dah matahari. Naik aje Dumbo muka Sufi nampak agak panic so I asked you to sit on Papa's lap. The next two rounds I saw you were smilling and waving your hands at me. Heee anak Papa sungguh tau Sufi ni! Ok laa.. janji have fun ok! Geram jugak tengok Sufi takut2 niiiii. Mama pun tak ingat masa Mama kecik2 Mama takut2 jugak ke? Ke menurun dari Papa???
Then we saw a line queing up to take photos with Mickey and Minnie. We queued up quite a long line but shortly after, both of the characters went away. So we were told you that we'll try to find them later. We then decided to go watch the 3D show which we then saw Mickey and Minnie were back for the Character Greeting session - they were only having a two minute break. We saw the Adventureland "Festival of the Lion King" (I rated 4 out 10), Fantasyland "The Golden Mickeys" (1 out of 10), Fantasyland Mickey's PhilharMagic - a 3D show (7 out of 10), Fantasyland "it's a small world" (5 out of 10. Sama je macam yang ada kat Genting),
We had our lunch at Adventureland, Tahitian Terrace - the only Halal place. We used the kononnya free voucher meals that came together with the tickets - only to find out the voucher can only be used for the Indian meals.
We skipped Flights of Fantasy Parade (Sufi tengah cuci yak) and we were simply tired waiting for 3 hours for "Disney in the Stars" Fireworks and decided to go home at 8.10pm. I surveyed earlier on that the firework show is on 8pm only to find out that on Saturday the show is on 9pm. We were done with all parks at 5pm. Jenuh nak tunggu 9pm.
Then we saw a line queing up to take photos with Mickey and Minnie. We queued up quite a long line but shortly after, both of the characters went away. So we were told you that we'll try to find them later. We then decided to go watch the 3D show which we then saw Mickey and Minnie were back for the Character Greeting session - they were only having a two minute break. We saw the Adventureland "Festival of the Lion King" (I rated 4 out 10), Fantasyland "The Golden Mickeys" (1 out of 10), Fantasyland Mickey's PhilharMagic - a 3D show (7 out of 10), Fantasyland "it's a small world" (5 out of 10. Sama je macam yang ada kat Genting), Fantasyland Railroad Station (1 out of 10) - what were they thinking laaa weiii?!?, Tarzan Island (1 out of 10) except ok la dapat naik rakit untuk pergi ke pokok rumah Tarzan tu.

But at least we were killing our time at the Fantasy Garden - all the characters were available and the queues were amazingly short! You shake hands with Minnie again and this time you kissed Minnie's nose, shake hand with Donald Duck, I had to force Papa to take photo with Winnie The Pooh, we enjoyed Goofy very much! Sufi takut sangat ngan Goofy sebab tengok dia dok kacau orang lain. Three thumbs up to Goofy! Memang terhibur tengok gelagat dia!
Since we were there in the month of October, there were Halloween street show yang entah apa-apa. Vampire dok menari-nari. Tak takut pun. Tak teruja pun. Best lagi hantu Thriller MJ. Mama asyik complaint tak best je kan Disneyland ni kan? Memang tak best pun la. Universal Studio Singapore jauh lagi best and ada gak rasa magical! Especially masa kat Shrek Kingdom tu memang Mama rasa magical je rasa. Kat Disneyland, Mama tengok Papa, Papa tengok Mama. Ambience failed la. But still satisfied la dapat tengok Sufi gembira jupa Mickey and Minnie :) Confirm lepas ni Papa kena bawak jugak Sufi jupa Upin Ipin.
After we decided to go back, Papa used a different route to get back to our hotel. Kita tapau Filet O Fish 2 biji makan kat hotel. Sufi punya lapar - makan portion Mama, makan portion Papa. Tapi of course Sufi makan lagi banyak portion Mama la. Dalam hati Mama, takpe esok Mama makan banyak2 :)
After makan Sufi bawak keluar semua barang2 yang kita beli dari Disneyland. Papa bought and chosed you a collection of all Mickey and friends which Mama rasa sangat comel and a sort of water bottle yang cute, I get myself a Minnie Mouse mug yang sangat la besar dan super comel and Papa get himself a fridge magnet (as always). Apa lagi kita beli ek? Tu je kot. Shortly after kita pun tidur and Mama still terfikir-fikir lagi Filet O Fish :p
