Different perspectives
Dear Sufi,
Smiles from me. I'm happy.
So I did not share with you the details of our HK trip. Well I did for day 1.
But tonight I just wanted to summarize it. I'll try to recall and highlight day 2 till 6 in my future entries.
Sufi,
It's not a luxury trip for sure. Its definitely a budget family trip. But I learnt a lot about myself, my husband and definitely about you. I was satisfied that I successfully planned the trip into details. However I'm more satisfied that Papa executed my plan smoothly. He read the map and bababoom! we were at our destinations. He even took us on different route back just to experience different things and views. Papa didnt argue with my plans. He just played along with me even he was tired. I know. Even My legs were super tired but I simply love travelling and walking!
I had some great conversations with Papa too. Papa can be somewhat observant. We talked about differences of Malaysia and HK as a country, the citizens, and some other interesting topics - especially when Papa pointed out what and how Hongkian prioritize their lives. Within the 6 days, we live with them, walk and commute with them (be it at peak hours or so), we bought food from the supermarket while checking out their cost of living - we were part of them in six days! And I was just thrilled to come back to my tanahair.
Our Hk trip was definitely an eye opening. I pledge to Papa that I wanted to be a better samaritans, better host to our tourists for sure.
If HK trip gave such an impact to me, subhanaallah I pray Allah eases our unplan visit to Tanah Suci Mekah. I dont when. I have not plan. But I occasionally think and dream about it. In our big familiy, only left Nenek, Mak Ngah Ida and Pak Ngah, me and Papa who have not been to Mekah.
Last weekend while we in Atuk's place, Nenek Putrajaya asked me where are we going for your fourth birthday. I quickly told her it's not a annual thingy. Nak terberak buat every year?!? Then I got very intested when she told it'll be great to plan out an oversea trip with the family. She quickly suggested a place that I badly wanted to go with Papa! But it would costs us like A LOTTT! But I like the very muchie! Haiyooo cakap pasal travel je jadi excited terlebih! Kot gaji naik 1k every year adalah kewajaran nak travel sana sini. Ok ok kena bersyukur. Dapat pergi HK pun dah alhamdulillah. Kalau tak dapat pergi kite telan air liur je tengok makcik pakcik kamu pergi ye. Someday who knows, Sufi yang bawak Papa and Mama to our dream places :)
Its getting late. I'll write to you again.
Love,
Mama
